Summary of my weight loss:
Loss 18 kg + 25.5 inches in 10 MONTHS with 2 Herbalife shakes + 1 normal meal!
Loss another 1 kg + 24.1 inches after I stopped taking Herbalife shakes.
To date, I have lost a total of 19 kg + 49.6 inches of my body.
I'm currently taking 2-3 normal meals per day.
I'm no longer dependent on Herbalife Shakes for more than 5 years.

How Herbalife helps you lose weight

When using Herbalife to lose weight, the shakes will act as replacement meal. With Herbalife, you'll be replacing 2 out of 3 daily meals with shakes, and the 1 meal left you'll consume normal meal. The menu for losing weight with Herbalife = 2 shakes + 1 normal meal. Teamix should be taken 1/2 hour after your shakes, and 5-10 minutes after your normal meal. Teamix can also act as your replacement drink.

As I've mentioned in my previous blog post, when consuming Herbalife for losing weight, Herbalife Shakes and Teamix will help in cutting calories. This is because, both Herbalife shakes and Teamix are low in calories!

F1 : 2 scoop = 90 calories
F3 : 1 scoop = 20 calories
Teamix : 1/2 teaspoon = 3 calories

Here's how the menu will look like when you consume Herbalife shakes to lose weight. There are 3 options. You may replace any TWO(2) of your meals with shakes, as long as by the end of the day you'll end up with 2 shakes + 1 normal meal.

a) replace your breakfast and lunch with shakes, and normal meal taken during dinner.
breakfast = shakes
lunch = shakes
dinner = normal meal

b) replace your breakfast and dinner with shakes, and normal meal taken during lunch.
breakfast = shakes
lunch = normal meal
dinner = shakes

c) replace your lunch and dinner with shakes, and normal meal taken during breakfast.

dinner = shakes


Let say this person is..
Height : 170 cm
Weight : 82 kg
Gender : female
Age : 30 y.o.

Her ideal weight is 54 to 72 kg.
So she is overweight by 20 kilos.

Her daily calorie needs is 2202 calories per day.

Since she needs to LOSE weight, she needs to consume BELOW her daily calorie needs in order for her to lose weight.

It is also recommended to always consume ABOVE 1200 calories per day. You shouldn't consume calories below 1200 calories in long periods of time (1-3 days is fine), as it may cause diet plateau + malnutrition + drop in body metabolism. explained it best :
If you were to consumed below 1200 calories, you are eating too few calories. Not only is it difficult to receive adequate nutrition at these calorie levels, but you could also be putting your body into starvation mode. Starvation mode lowers your metabolism and makes weight loss more difficult. We suggest increasing your calorie consumption to 1,200 calories per day minimum.


Let say, this is her usual daily menu before consuming HL
breakfast = nasi lemak (644 calories) + teh tarik (83)
lunch = mcd double cheeseburger (432 calories) + medium fries (360) + soft drink medium 'coke' (364)
dinner = nasi + lauk pauk (900 calories) + milo ais (130)
total calories = 2813 calories

2813 calories is ABOVE her daily calorie needs. so that is why, it is so hard for her to lose weight. she is eating TOO MUCH calories!

What will happen if she takes HL shakes?
Her HL shake and teamix recipe could be :
2 scp F1 + 2 scp F3 + 250 ml cold choc milk = 300 calories
1/2 tspn of Teamix + 250 ml hot water = 3 calories

This is her daily menu with HL shakes using the recipe above
* replace breakfast and lunch with shakes, and take normal meal during dinner
breakfast = 2 scp F1 + 1 scp F3 + 250 ml cold milk (230) + 1/2 tspn of Teamix + 250 ml hot water (3) + 250 ml plain water (0)
in between = 1/2 apple (60) + 500 ml plain water (0)
lunch = 2 scp F1 + 1 scp F3 + 250 ml cold milk (230) + 1/2 tspn of Teamix + 250 ml hot water (3) + 250 ml plain water (0)
in between = 1/2 apple (60) + 500 ml plain water (0)
dinner = nasi + lauk pauk (800) + 1/2 tspn of Teamix + 250 ml hot water (3) + 250 ml plain water (0)
in between = 500 ml plain water (0)
total calories = 1629 calories

2202 - 1629 = 573 reduced calories

Let's assume, that she will be reducing 573 calories every single day for 1 month.
Hence, she will manage to reduce/cut her calorie intake...
573 calories x 30 days = 17190 calories/month

Note that, 1 pound ( 0.45 kilos ) = 3500 calories

17190 / 3500 = 4.9 pounds

She will be able to lose 4.9 pounds or 2.2 kilos in a month
