Summary of my weight loss:
Loss 18 kg + 25.5 inches in 10 MONTHS with 2 Herbalife shakes + 1 normal meal!
Loss another 1 kg + 24.1 inches after I stopped taking Herbalife shakes.
To date, I have lost a total of 19 kg + 49.6 inches of my body.
I'm currently taking 2-3 normal meals per day.
I'm no longer dependent on Herbalife Shakes for more than 5 years.

How to lose weight with Herbalife during fasting



This is a request from Tseug (whoever u are) :p

Tseug: Salam, lama tak tgk blog ni. Rasa masalah dh settle kot. Sempena bulan Rejab, Syaaban and Ramadhan, bleh x post entry pasal menu utk puasa. Kalo bleh entry yg lain drpd yg dah ada. Hehe. TQ.

Two years ago I wrote 2 samples of Fasting Menu to choose from, but this guy, Tseug, wants a new one. I guess he want a more detailed fasting menu and more tips.

Erm.. where should I start.

TIPS FROM ADIEHA ON HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT DURING FASTING

1. Avoid drinking sweet drinks, including fruit juice sold from stalls. I know there's a lot of drinks sold at Pasar Ramadhan, but do u really need them? NO! Replace by drinking teamix and plain water. If you want fruit juice, start juicing ur own fruit juice and pls don't add sugar. Just juice an apple or an orange, to replace ur sugar. ehehe.

2. Avoid eating unnecessary food that u don't need. Unnecessary food: kuih muih, donuts, jellies, oily soups, greasy food, fatty food etc

3. Choose only 1 type of food as ur normal meal. Your normal meal should contain adequent amount of carbs (1/4 plate), protein (1/4 plate) and fibre (1/2 plate).

4. Drink enough water throughout the day (divide ur weight in kg with 30 to get ur daily water intake in liters)

5. Drink 1 mug (1/4 or 1/2 tsp + 250 ml hot/warm water) of teamix after every single meal (hl shakes and normal meal)

6. After drinking your teamix, make sure u drink same amount (or more) plain water. e.g. 1 mug of teamix followed by 1 mug of plain water ..or.. 1 mug of teamix followed by 2 mugs of plain water.

7. Instead of the usual 2 scps F1 + X F3 + 250 ml liquid, take 4 scps F1 + X F3 + 400 ml of liquid. Adjust amount of F1 : 3 scp or 4 scps, and adjust the quantity of liquid : 400 ml to 500 ml according to ur liking. I recommend u make double amount of shakes, so that you'll feel MORE FULL = NOT HUNGRY = MORE ENERGY throughout the day.
* F3 scoops is based on your height and BMI. Even if you double the amount of shakes, your F3 scoops will remain the same. To know how many scoops you need, click here.

8. You can use liquids such as plain water, low fat milk, fruit juice.. to be mixed with ur shakes.

9. You can blend in fruits and veggies into ur shakes to make a hearty meal.

10. Stay strong and ignore ur cravings on unhealthy food at all cost.

11. Remember that, once u cave in and eat more than you should, you have FAILED to reach the main goal of Fasting Month - eat moderate amount of food.

HOW TO CONSUME HERBALIFE DURING FASTING

This time, I'll give u more options. ehehe. just pick a menu that suits u. You won't need to stick with 2 shakes a day rule, you can replace 1 shake with a light meal instead. Just keep track how much calorie u're consuming in a day.

Choice 1 : 3 MEALS a day

Menu 1A
HL shakes (double amount) for SAHUR
Normal meal for BERBUKA
HL shakes (double amount) for SUPPER

Menu 1B
HL shakes (double amount) for SAHUR
HL shakes (double amount) for BERBUKA
Normal meal for SUPPER
* good for those who don't want to feel sleepy/have bloated tummy (overeat) during terawih

Menu 1C
HL shakes (double amount) for SAHUR
Light meal for BERBUKA
Normal meal for SUPPER
* good for those who don't want to feel sleepy/have bloated tummy (overeat) during terawih

OWN TESTIMONIAL

After implementing the tips above, I notice that I could actually lose 0.5 kg per day (for 5 days straight). Thats how much u can lose, if u stay away from food that u don't need. You may lose more than me.. since i've already reach my ideal weight, there's not much to lose anymore.

i lose 2 kg after 2 days of fasting.. (pose ganti) hehe. my break fast menu: 1/4 nasi, 1/2 vegie and few pieces of carb/protein mcm ikan or ayam.. air kosong, just like ur menu suggest.
